Kirk Hendry is a New Zealand-born, London based film maker and writer who works in both live-action and animation.
He is represented in the UK by London's award winning animation studio Th1ng. Kirk's latest film is a six minute animated film called 'Junk', a tale about an obsession with junk food and the importance of following your gut instinct. The film includes the involvement of the UK Film Council and the Royal College of Music and has taken a team of twenty artists almost two years to complete. Other projects include the award-winning film 'Round' made for the BBC Electric Proms which features the exclusive use of hand shadows to tell its story. Kirk brought over an Argentinean magician especially for the project. The film has screened at over twenty-five festivals worldwide. |
