Kirk Hendry is a New Zealand-born, London based film maker and writer who works in both live-action and animation.
He is represented in the UK by London's award winning animation studio th1ng and in France by Parisian film studio Troublemakers. His latest project was a unique film 'Round' for the BBC Electric Proms which features the exclusive use of hand shadows to tell its story. Kirk brought over an Argentinean magician especially for the project. The film is now being screened at various festivals worldwide. Kirk also produced and directed a number of music videos including a clip for Autoramas, which was nominated for MTV Music Video of the Year. Kirk is currently working on a five minute animated film called 'Junk', a tale about an obsession with junk food and the importance of following your gut instinct. The film includes the involvement of the UK Film Council and the Royal College of Music. |
